MOSQUITA MUERTA

Shy and harmless. She plays with the sensible silence, while others lose the game with exaggerated flutter. Mosquita Muerta has an unexpected venom, she has a hidden plan.
Be careful, or you could get caught… forever

Blend de Tintas (“tintas” means “reds” in Spanish) mixes varieties and origins across Uco Valley at the foothills of the Andes mountains. Hand-harvested grapes from each terroir at different dates in order to find the ideal ripeness and expression. Each component is fermented with indigenous yeasts in egg-shaped concrete vats, oak vats, plastic bins and oak barrels. Then half of the wine is aged in brand new French oak barrels for 18 months while the rest of this wine stayed in concrete vats. It’s a powerful wine, with velvety tannins, a long finish and pleasant aftertaste.
