FINCA MANTRAX

Estate located in the Department of Tunuyán, Los Chacayes district, between 1,250 and 1,300 m.a.s.l. As the highest vineyard in the district, its roots challenge slopes of stony soils of colluvial origin. A privileged eastern orientation lets it embrace the gentle light of dawn and shelter from the scorching afternoon sun, ripening its fruit to the rhythm of the most extreme and pronounced thermal amplitude in Mendoza.

Soils: Stony soil of colluvial origin, with rocks present throughout its profile.
Climate & exposure: Extreme thermal amplitude that frequently exceeds 20°C between day and night, the most pronounced in the province and a key factor for grape concentration. The eastern exposure ensures the vineyard makes the most of the sunlight from the earliest hours, achieving efficient photosynthesis without the extreme thermal stress of summer afternoon sun.
